Play writer P. C. Shekar is no more

Mangalore, August 23: A famous play writer and author of ‘Beri Budandi paapa’ drama P. C Shekar took his last breath due to illness at Father Muller College.

He was 61 year old and was working as a distributor of daily newspaper and weekly paper.

In 1978 his two dramas were succeeded to attract the people, such as ‘Aase da badk’ and ‘Beri budandi papa’. His ‘beri budandi papa’ play was exhibited more than 150 times. P. C Shekar was also working as a tailor and pigmi agent.

 He was survived by his wife, two children and daughter in law.
