Mangalore, August 17: To explore the talent of youth sports man, there will be 39th men’s and 31st women’s national level power lifting competition at Town hall and Kulala Bhavan from August 21 to August 26, said committee secretary Sathish Kumar Kudroli.
Addressing the presspersons he said that more 500 competitors will be participating in the competition and more than 100 judges will be present. On August 21 at 4 pm there will be route march from sports mans.
Youth and fisheries minister Abhaychandra Jain will be inaugurating the programme and D. K in charge minister B Ramanatha Rai will preside over the function. Padmabhushanaa Dr. D. Veerendra Hegde will bless the gathering. On August 25th and 26th, there will be prize distribution and Minister Verappa Moili, Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake will be present in the programme.
