Karkala; August 14: JCI, Belman, M S R S College, Shirva in association with youth Red Cross society has organized an anti-drug awareness programme on August 14, Wednesday at Shirva M S R S college premises.
Dr P Bhandary, health director, Udipi Baliga memorial hospital has inaugurated the programme and talked on the subject of ill- effect of drug consumption.
Sadananda Navada, national vice president of JCI India in order to build strong India youths should play an important role and must not fall prey to drug addiction and for becoming a good citizen you should not be the victim of drugs.
Subramanya Bhat, college principal, Sandeep V Poojary, programme director were present.
Raghunath Punaru welcomed the gathering, Prof.Sharada M, director, youth Red Cross society has proposed a vote of thanks.
