Karkala;August 08: Belman zone level boys and girls Kho-Kho games event was inaugurated by Smt Rashmi Shetty,president,Karkala taluk Panchayat organized by Kalya,Halekatte government higher primary school. Raviraj Upadhyaya, president Palli village panchayat has presided over the function.
After inaugurating the event, Rashmi Shetty said in her address that games will help to build our body and with that we can improve the health. Besides, apart from earning name, fame, games will also help to get an employment.

In the concluding ceremony Ravi Shankar Rao, education administrator, Karkala constituency, Babu Poojary, physical education observer, Mundkur Cluster, CRP Chandrakanth Desa, Sudhakar Kotian, local prominent leader were present.
