Udipi;August 06: In a surprise move Udipi deputy police commissioner Lingaraju H along with his subordinates raided a Matka den near Beedinagudde fish market,udipi on August 05,Monday at 16.30 pm and arrested Ashok, aged 51 of years, resident of Kukkikatte Badagubettu along with cash of Rs 5820/-and other Matka related materials.
Accused has confessed to the police that he is working as clerk for Ashok alias Santhosh, resident of Nejar on commission, collecting money and issuing the receipts.Santhosh the man who runs the activities, has been fled the spot.
Udipi urban police registered a case in this regard.
