Karkala; August 06: “Yugapurusha”Sankalakariya, in Karkala taluk in association with Vijaya Yuvaka Sangha, Khushi Mahila&Yuvathi Mandala and Kinnigoli Rotaract organized a special programme of “Thingoldha Bolpu and Aatidha Atil” at Sankalakariya School premises.
Karnataka Rajya award winner, a stage artist Mulky Chandrashekar Suvarna has given an elaborate discourse on Tulu culture and further said that in view of making future generation to understand about the tulunadu culture, tradition and celebrations, there is a meaning in organizing this type of special programmes in the tulu month of Aati and which is highly commendable, he added.
Kodethur Bhuvanabhiram Udupa, editor of Yugapurusha has presided over the programme.A local talent, Mr Loyce, who scored 91 % in his 11 PUC examination has been felicitated on the occasion.
