Kundapur; August 04: It was reported that telephone cable theft thieves have been arrested by the police at Idoor-Kunjadi in Kattabelthur and Kollur police station limit under Kundapur police jurisdiction.
The arrested have been identified as Krishna, aged 25, a resident of Guddimane Athradi in Vandse village, Shekara, aged 19, a resident of Kattabelthur, Annappa, aged 21, a resident of Moodlakatte near Dhoddamane in Kandavar village.
Police have recovered around 4.300 kgs of burnt cable wire along with the arrest of Ilyas, a scrap dealer. Besides police also recovered copper pans, mobile phones and two bicycles those have been stolen from two houses in Vandse and Thallur.
Along with Revathi, PSI, Kundapur police crime branch, cops Augustine Quadros, Raghavendra Uppoor and Goplakrishna have played an active role in the process of investigation.
