The Saffron Foundation honours social work pioneers

Mangalore:Environmentalist Mr Jeeth Milan Roche, Door Darshna Journalist Mr S Jayaram and International power-lifter Ms Geetha Bai Ullal were honoured by ‘The Saffron Foundation’, a city based NGO on Sunday, June 12 at City Center.

The felicitation programme was organised as part of their future programme, ‘Saffron Smiles’ a fund-raising event for the construction of home for the old in city.

Medical Professor and Environmentalist Prof Dr Murali Mohan Choontharu who felicitated the esteemed guests gave a cal to people to come forward and help the needy.

“Social work only requires willingness and determination to bring a change in the society. The Saffron Foundation has been rendering its service since 2002 in the same field. We must appreciate their hardwork and be part of such noble gestures” he added.

Expressing gratitude towards the felicitation,  Environmentalist Mr Jeeth Milan Roche and others gave a call to youth to render their service to the society.

General Secretary of foundation Ms Sanija K, foundation members Ms Anisha Nishanth, Mr Nishanth Shetty and Ms Wilma Serrao were present on the occasion.

The programme was organised in association with Pranha Events and Revelation Dance Inc.
