Belthangadi, July 31:Businessman and social worker Ermodi Gunapala Jain (63) died due to Innova and private Bus collision at in front Hosangadi Grama Panchayt of Venur, Perinje here on Wednesday.
Jain was badly injured and he was rushed to the hospital, but he was pronounced brought dead due to the bleeding.
Mr Jain was a proprietor and secretary of Jaina Theerthankar Committee. On Monday he was moving towards to check the progressive building work at Venur Bahubali Kshetra. After glancing the work when he reached near Panchayat, a bus, which was coming from Belthangadi to mangalore rammed the car.
People were gathered to see the dead person and tried to burn the bus, but fortunately police and social leaders were succeeded control the situation.
According the sources, over speed of the bus was cause for the accident and after the incident bus driver fled from the spot. Based on Sharmith Kumar’s complaint, Venur police filed case against bus driver Sathish.
