‘Niddodi Ulisi’ documentary; Spandana Channel supports Niddodi protest

Mangalore, July 25: Karnataka’s first HD channel ‘Spandana’ has supported the Niddodi residents protest against Coastal Karnataka Electronic Limited Company’s Ultra Mega power Plant, through its programme’ Voice of People’.

The Niddodi of Moodabidri constituency has been selected for power plant project, but people of the area are opposing that it would cause for environment problem. On Thursday, Spandana Channel CEO Vilas Nayak, Group Editor Harish K Adhur including their group had visited the spot and collected people opinion as well as openly supported to the protest. At the same time channel group had screened ‘Niddodi Ulisi’ documentary to the villagers.
