Addressing the pressperson Karnataka People’s Union for Civil Liberties President P. B. D’sa said that published article provoked the people, especially youngsters from minority communities against each other and caused to permanent damage to the peace and harmony in the country, hence complaint was filed against Dr. S. L. Bairappa, Vishweshwara Bhat,U.K Kumarnath and K. R Ramesh at the Pandeshwar police station. He further alleged that fear from the BJP government, investigation officer had filed ‘B’ report to court, stating that the complaint is a mistake of fact, as the article was published under Right to Speech and Expression and no communal riots took place among Hindu, Muslim and Christians after the publication. But it had created hatred environment among them and increased attack from the Sangha Parwar Group against Christian under the guise of ‘conversion’ and against the Muslims under the pretext of cattle transportation, love jihad etc, he added.

‘During the tenure of Dakshina Kannada police Superintendent B. Dayananda, seven fake encounters were committed and no relief fund was given to accused family, instead of that those criminal minded officers were promoted and rewarded. Though AK- 47 is a prohibited firearm, police has used during the encounter, hence Writ Petition 30247/ 2012 has put and case is still pending at the high court’, he said.
