Mulki, November 24: A youth expired after a tempo toppled near Kempugudde Manampadi in Mulki on Monday, November 24th.
The deceased youth is identified as Fahim Shaikh (21), son of Haleangadi Indiranagar resident Bashir Saheb.
Fahim Shaikh was working for Pinky caterers and arrangers in Haleangady.
The tempo toppled after the road slid down while it was traversing through the road close to the paddy fields in Kempugudde. The tempo was carrying items from Haleangady to Mulky Kempugudde to make stage for a function, it is said.
It is learnt, three persons were travelling in the tempo including the driver, and when the tempo toppled, Pahim fell under the tempo and was seriously injured. He expired on the way while being rushed to the hospital.
A case has been registered by Mulki police.
