Ban orders to hold public programs extended till Nov 26th: Deputy Commissioner

Mangaluru, November 21: DC A B Ibrahim has extended the ban order from November 20th that was issued against holding meetings and programs in Dakshina Kannada district,untill midnight of November 26th.

Still petty incidents have continued to report from various places in the district and as there is no improvement in the situation, the ban order has been extended, he informed. As per the orders of the Deputy Commissioner; in Dakshina Kannada district, holding public, religious, political meeting and procession, protests and organizing other ceremonies has been banned.

Bantwal: In the backdrop of yearly fair, bars ordered to shut shutters on Nov 21st and Nov 22nd.

Mangaluru, November 21: During the processions of yearly Lakshadeepotsava celebrations at the Shree Nitilakhsa Sadashiva temple, Nitilapura in Goltamajalu village falling under Bantwal police jurisdiction; to maintain Law and order system in the sensitive areas, Deputy Commissioner has ordered Prashanth Wines in Kalladka and Jayashree Bar and Resturant  to close shutters from 6am on November 21st till 6am on November 22nd, states a release sent by Deputy Commissioner.
