Bengaluru,Nov.17: Chief Minister Sri Siddaramaiah on statuary laid the foundation stone for “Beary Souharda Bhavana” which will come up at an estimated cost of Rs.12 crores,funded by Beary’s Welfare Association here in the city. He promised that the government would provide financial grants for Bhavana.
In his address, the chief Minister asked the people not to become victims of hate politics.”The country is undergoing a character crisis. Peace is at stake. Petty issues are being used to bring amenity among people and ultimately religion is used for political gains”, he said.
Beary Community and Beary language have rich heritage and the beary community is peace loving and hard working. The word Beary means Business man which is derived from Tulu.It is appropriate to have named the proposed building as Beary Souharda Bhavana which means Amity house since the harmony and amity among the people are fast detoriating.
Former Minister Mr.B.A.Mohideen said doors of Beary Souharda Bhavana are opened to all religion and section of the people.
President of Beary Souharda Bhavana building committee Mr.Syed Mohammed Beary give a brief description of the proposed building and its estimate.
Mr.B.M.Farookh president of Bearys Welfare Association in his welcome address ascerted that the association strive hard to bring the peace and harmony among all section of people and focusing development of education among the community.
