Udupi, October 23: A man expired and another sustained injuries in a terrible collision between a tempo and a truck on the National Highway-66 at Kinnimulky.
The tempo driver expired in the accident. His identity is not yet known. The truck driver was critically injured.
Head-on collision occurred between a truck moving from Udupi to Mangaluru and a tempo carrying LPG cylinders from Udupi to Mangaluru.
The fire personnel rushed to the spot and took preventive measures to ensure there was no leakage.
Following the accident, traffic on the highway was affected for about one-and-a-half hours.
A case has been registered by Udupi traffic police.
