Mangaluru, October 12: Three persons have been arrested by the police on Sunday October 11th, in connection to the murder that took place at Ambikanagar in Kavoor on October 7th.
The arrested are identified as Imran (23), Kalandar Shaffi (23) and Nasir (31) all are residents of Kunjathbail here. They had absconded after the murder and they were arrested from KSRTC bus stand in the city.
October 7th, at around 8 pm, Muhammed had been to the house of a neighbour named Iqbal. Later, while he was returning home, he was stabbed and murdered with a knife.
During the police investigations it has been learnt that the murder pre-existing enmity over some old issues and also dispute over property was the reason behind the murder.
The police said, the accused were produced before the judge on Sunday and were then detained under judicial custody.
