Dr D Veerendra Heggade addressed the gathered and said, I admire the commitment at Manipal group. I have learnt many things from them and adopted them in my institutions. KMC has reached such heights over the years. It is better to detect the disease at an early stage and treat it rather than finding a cure for it at the later stages. Today society has seen lot of changes. Now people are victims of various disease due addiction to drugs, drinks and junk foods, he said.
