Coffee table book – ‘Temples of Goa’ released by TV Mohandas Pai .

Mangaluru, August 20: A coffee table book ‘Temples of Goa- A Spiritual Odyssey’ by Annu Mangaluru was released by T V Mohandas Pai, chairman of Manipal Global Education in a befitting ceremony at Shree Venkataramana Temple, Car Street here on Wednesday August 19th.

The 362-page book, a project of Vision T V Mohandas Pai, provides details on 50 temples of Goa. The book is published by Konkani Language and Cultural Foundation, Shaktinagar.

T V Mohandas Pai addressing the gathered expressed his happiness and said the book is released after three years of hard work. This book has history and pictures of temples which will be useful for future generation.

Konkani language is spoken by a number of people of different religions. We have to be proud of our language. Every Konkani speaking person should own the ‘Temples of Goa’ book, said T V Mohandas Pai.

The guests were welcomed by Basti Vaman Shenoy, president of Vishwa Konkani Kendra.

Smitha Shenoy compeered the programme.

On this occasion, Ramdas Kamath U, executive vice-president, Infosys, Pradeep G Pai, managing director, Hangyo Ice Creams Pvt Ltd, K Jayraj Pai, M Padmanabh Pai, Adige Balakrishna Pai, and others were present.
