Kundapur, July 29: The Kundapur police have arrested a youth on the charges of kidnap and sexual assault.
The arrested youth has been identified as Ravi(28), resident of Valturu Jeegibettu in Kavradi in the taluk.
It was alleged that Ravi had lured the minor girl from his neighbouring locality, taken her from her home and then sexually abused her for three days.
After the minor girl went missing from her home, her parents had filed a case of kidnap with the Kundapur Police.
Acting as per the complaint, the police arrested the accused Ravi from Sagar and booked him under kidnap, rape and POSCO Act.
Police sources said, the accused will be produced in the court on Wednesday.
