Mangalore, June 25: Condemning the alleged attack on party workers by Delhi police during silent protest at Delhi, city’s Aam Aadmi party workers organized a protest on June 24, Monday in front of deputy commissioner’s office.
Robert Rosario,Party’s district convener addressing the protestors said in his address that while observing silent protest urging for registering FIR against one incident of atrocity happened at Delhi, police assaulted party workers inhumanly and mercilessly. As a result of this attack by Delhi police many party workers have sustained injuries, resulting hospitalization.
They also alleged that government only coming forward to protect the offenders, who have involved in many crimes like this and also demanded a stringent punishment to the gang rape of Manipal medical student culprits.
Roshan siri, Rohan Ullal, Dharmendra were present.
