Mangaluru, July 21: The incidents of stabbing the Hindu youths are rising in Mangaluru region. Although rape, cattle theft and false accusations on the innocents are taking place continuously, appropriate actions are not initiated said Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurupur Vajradehi Math on Monday July 20th.

Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji addressed a protest meet jointly organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal and Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) near Thokkotu bus stop to condemn atrocities against the Hindu community taking place in Mangaluru region.

Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji accused Minister U T Khader, alleging him of biased approach between the two major communities. He warned that if efforts to subvert Hindus continue, they would hold an intense protest.

Atrocities are taking place against Hindus in the areas of Talapady and Thokkotu, and elected representatives should resolve the people’s problems. The police are capable of tracing the accused but their hands are tied by the state government, he said.

Sharan Pumpwell, Convener of Bajrang Dal, south Karnataka region demanded the concerned authorities to take appropriate actions against the culprits.

Bajrang Dal district convener Bhujang Kulal, HJV state co-convener Satyajit Suratkal, VHP district secretary Gopal Kuthar and others were present.

A road block was done symbolically post the protest.
