Kinnigoli, July 15: Thieves have burgled a locked house at Mooduthota near Haleangady in Mulki and have stolen cash on Tuesday night, July 14th.
The thieves broke into the house of Lakshmana Shetty through the terrace door and have escaped with cash Rs 20,000 kept in the almairah.
The house owner stays at Mumbai and no one stayed in the house.
A local who visited a temple close by observed that the door of the house was open. On inspection, the theft came to light.
Immediately, the police were informed who visited the spot along with the finger print experts. Police have registered a case and investigations are underway.
