Mangaluru, July 14: The issue of alleged assault case on a PU student by Principal of St Josephs College Bajpe which took place on last Friday has been settled through compromise on Monday, July 13th.
It was alleged that principal of the college had assaulted on a PU student named Siddique, student of the college after he returned to the college after offering prayers on last Friday. The student who was injured in the assault was admitted to the hospital for treatment. The CFI had also protested over this matter. SSF had submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister urging for justice.
The college administration on Monday had convened talks with the local leaders, parents of the student and others after which the matter was settled in compromise, stated a media release.
