Mangaluru, June 23: The Pandeshwar police have arrested trio two wheelers flickers and seized two wheelers worth Rs 1.03 lakhs from their possession.
The arrested are identified as Mohammed Naufal(19), resident of Israr Plaza, Azizuddin road Bunder, Safraz alias Sappi(29), resident of Riya apartment in Nandigudde and Ahmed Sharwan (22), resident of MR Bhat lane. All the accused are from Mangaluru.
In the morning, the three accused were standing near three parked two wheelers near canara Bank ATM close to the central railway station here. The police on patrol grew suspicious, interrogated the youths. While they were questioned, the trio did not give appropriate answers. The police took them into custody, subjected them to thorough investigations and learnt that the accused had stolen the vehicles from Balmata road and old Bunder area here.
The police have confiscated two scooters and a bike from the possession of the accused whose values are estimated to be Rs 1.03 Lakhs.
A case has been filed at Pandeshwar police station and investigations are on.
