Two missing girls traced in Mumbai, brought to native.

Udupi, June 19: In Mumbai, the police have found the two college going girls who had gone missing from here and have brought them back to their families.

The girls Sandhya D Shetty(19) of Matapadi and Divisha(19) of Ajjarkad, were students of Udupi G Shankar Women’s First Grade College, had gone missing since June 16th.

Parents of both the girls after being unable to trace them had lodged separate complaints.

It is now learnt that two were found at a railway station in Mumbai on Thursday June 18th. The Udupi police brought the girls back home from Mumbai on Friday June 19th and handed them over to their families.

It is said that the girls told the police that they had scored poor marks in exams, and out of fear of being charged from their parents, they went to Mumbai.
