Father Muller hospital opens new bus shelters to publics, new cath lab inaugurated in FM hospital.

Mangaluru, June 18: MLC Ivan D’Souza inaugurated a catheterization laboratory (cath lab), at Father Muller hospital in the city and bus shelters in front of the FM Hospital here on Thursday June 18th.

Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese, Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza blessed the new lab.

Speaking on this occasion, he thanked the director for buying this expensive equipment. This machine has been bought with the intention of benefiting the patients. This is the latest and the best cath lab in the city. I pray to the Lord to bless this institution, doctors, nurses and all the staff working here, he said.

Ivan D’Souza said, birth and death of a person is assessed by his heartbeat. One should take care of the heart which is very important organ of the body. This new machine will helps to identify ailments and take care of the heart. In the recent days, even youngsters are suffering from heart ailments. Though the machine is very expensive, costing 4.5 crore, the Father Muller hospital has installed this new machine in order to provide good service to the patients. He congratulated the Father Muller for opening this modern cath lab.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Prabhakar, head of department of cardiology.

On the same occasion, two new bus shelters were opened to the public by MLC Ivan D’Souza which were handed over to the MCC by Father Muller hospital.

Ivan said, Father Muller hospital has developed these two bus shelters for the public and there by shown concern for society. It has also set an example by keeping this area clean.

On this occasion, Fr Richard Coelho-Administrator of FMMCH, Fr Patrick Rodrigues- director of FMCI, Fr Ajith Menezes, Corporator Naveen D’souza, and others were present.
