Mangaluru, June 6: The Tulunada Rakshana Vedike staged a protest in front of the DC office here on Saturday, June 6th demanding ban on Maggi Noodles which is facing controversies of containing excess MSG and lead content.
Yogish Shetty Jeppu, president of the Tulunada Rakshana Vedike said, the younger generation are facing various health issues after consumption of such harmful food stuffs. He also urged the concerned authorities to conduct proper tests before the processed food stuffs are sold in the market.
Hameed Hassan and others also spoke on this occasion.
The protesters urged the government to ban such products.
