Mangaluru, June 6: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who was titled as the “Number-1 MP” was felicitated at the BJP office here on Saturday, June 6th.
BJP Vice president Bhanuprakash after felicitating MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for his achievement said, democracy has given a chance to a worker to rise to the highest post. As evidence, only in BJP, a common worker can achieve from the level of gram panchayat member to the post of Chief Minister. One who has won the heart of many is a true worker, said Bhanuprakash.
Nalin has won twice. This shows the respect which people give to a leader, he said.
MP Nalin Kumar spoke after receiving the felicitation and said, the party has taught me several aspects. I am always a party worker, he said.
District president Pratap Simha Nayak presided over the event. MLA Angara, Vidhan Parishad president Captain Ganesh Karnik, former MLA Mallika Prasad, Lalaji Mendon, Zilla Panchaayt president Asha Thimmappa Gowda were present.
