Mangaluru, May 18: The second PU results are out in Karnataka state, which were anxiously awaited. The PU board director Sushma Godbole announced results on Monday May 18th.
Dakshina Kannada district has topped in the state with a pass percentage of 93.09, while Udupi stands second with 92.32 percent. Uttara Kannada is at the third place with 81.19 percent. Gadag is at the bottom of the list with 51.02 percent.
Even this time also, girls have outshone the boys with a pass percentage of 68.24 percent, as against 58.09% among boys.
As many as 55 colleges have secured cent percent results and 47 colleges in the state have got zero pass percentage.
First rank in the state in Science stream has been secured by Gautami of MES College, Bengaluru, Rashmita of Sharada Vidyalaya, Mangaluru is first in the state and Netravati of Kottur, Ballari has secured first place in Arts.
