Mangaluru, May 18: Pandeshwar cops have raided a prostitution racket in a house near Marnamikatte here on the night of May 16th, Saturday.
During the raid, police have arrested three persons and seized cash Rs 14,920, three cell phones, few condoms, a motor bike and visiting cards. The value of the total seized items including cash has been estimated at Rs 48,920.
The arrested are identified as Anwar T (28) of Kallikote in Kerala, Chandrashekhar alias Chandu (33) of Neerapade in Baltila village and PK Mubasheer (20) of Ambikanagar Muragudde.
It is learnt that, the prostitution racket was operated by Chandrashekhar, while the other two arrested men were customers.
Cops said Chandrashekhar had taken the house on rent and used to lure young women of cash and push them into sex trade.
The raid was conducted on a tip off was led by Pandeshwar Inspector Dinaker Shetty. Police are further investigating the case.
