Red corner notice issued by Interpol to trace duper couple

Kasargod, May 7: To trace city-based couple, C V Sadique (36) and Khadeejat Nausha (28), residents of Cheriyaveettil in Palakunnu Naimaramoola here, a red corner notice has been issued by the Interpol.

The couple in the name of a firm named Global Trade Solution has collected over Rs 300 crore in the form of deposits from various districts in the state and have remained elusive in the Gulf region.

is facing charges of floating a company with the name, Global Trade Solution, collecting over Rs 300 crore in the form of deposits from various districts in the state, and then going underground in the Gulf region.

Sadique is the prime accused in the case, while his wife is the second accused. Sadique was the managing director of the company, while his wife was the director. It is alleged that the company had appointed agents in different districts by assuring them of high returns, and had collected huge amounts in the form of deposits. The couple disappeared without a trace in 2011, it is gathered.

Police crime branch economic offences division has been investigation on the complaints filed in other districts, while Chennai unit of Central Bureau of Investigation has been investigating four cases of fraud registered against the couple in the town.

In Palakkad district alone, the couple faces 46 cases.

Massive protest demonstration was staged in front of Sadique’s house in the town. The people alleged that they had invested huge sum in his company, and sought refund of their money from the couple.
