Poojary speaking on BJP government’s land acquisition bill, said, in 2013 when Congress introduced the bill, it was not objected by BJP. It was consented by all, but now why a sudden U-turn within 10 months after rising to power? This bill was introduced by congress to protect the interest of farmers’. But BJP after rising to power is working according to the tunes of corporates.

He queried how can the union government snatch the rights of the farmer? If farmers stop cultivating their land, people will not have anything to eat. If the land acquisition bill is passed, I will organize a massive rally in the district, said Poojary.

Congress leaders, Former mayor Mahabala Marla were present among others.
