Mangaluru, April 3: In a collision between lorry and bus which took place at Honnakatte, Kulai here on the morning of Friday April 3rd, seven persons have suffered injuries and one among them is critical.
It is said, the bus plying from Kinnigoli to Mangaluru had stopped at Honnakatte to pick up passengers. Meanwhile, a speeding lorry crashed to the bus from the rear end.
Six of the bus passengers have been injured who were immediately rushed to a private hospital by the locals.
Police sources said, negligence and rash driving by the lorry driver caused the accident.
The lorry driver was also injured.
A case has been registered by Suratkal traffic police. The bus and lorry both has been badly mangled after the accident.
