Duo expire in  separate road accidents near Manjeshwar.

Kasargod, April 1: A student and a man have died and duo were injured in different road accidents which had taken place near Manjeshwar on Tuesday, March 31st.


In a car- scooter accident, which occurred in the morning, a man expired and another person was injured.

Hosangadi Ramathamajalu resident Abdul Khader(42) is the deceased. The pillion rider Siddik (28) was injured.

This accident occurred when the duo were returning after fishing. The car was heading towards Mangaluru airport.  Abdul Khader who was badly injured was rushed to the hospital but he failed to respond to treatment and expired in the hospital.

In another accident in the evening which occurred between a pick up and a van on national highway at Udyavar, a student expired.

The deceased is Uppala Pathwadi resident Thousif(21).

Thousif was rushed to the hospital; but he succumbed to his injuries without responding to the treatment. His friend Ilyas(22), Uppala resident has been admitted to the hospital.

The accident occurred while the duo was travelling in their bike from Uppala to Manjeshwar when the pick up van rammed to their bike.

Both cases were registered by Manjeshwar cops.
