Mangaluru, March 20: B Janardhan Poojary, Former union minister and Congress leader has said that according to the interests of citizens, the state government has to hand over the mysterious death case of IAS officer D K Ravi to CBI probe. Poojary has warned that the congress will finish in the state if the case investigation is not handed over to CBI.
Addressing a press meet at the district Congress office here on Thursday March 19th he said, though the parents, public and media are demanding for CBI probe, the state government is not responding.
He said, in order to act as per the interests of the public’s and also for an unbiased investigation in this case, the leader of the Congress Party- Sonia Gandhi should intervene in this matter. He also demanded that the national leader of the party-Digvijay Singh should express his opinion on this matter.
In the press meet, Mayor Jacintha Vijay Alfred, former Minister Vijay Kumar Shetty, former Deputy Mayor Kavitha Vasu, leaders such as P V Mohan, T K Sudheer, Nazeer Bajal, Nagendra Kumar were present among others.
