Mangaluru, March 16: All India Gramin Dak Sevak Union (AIGDSU), Mangaluru zone, marched on a procession in the city and submitted a memorandum at District Commissioner’s office here on Monday, March 16th.
The protesters demanded to make permanent the employment of postal department officials serving at rural area, they must be provided with all the facilities that were provided for the employees of postal department, salary revival of employees of serving at rural areas of postal department and fulfillment of their other demands.
They have decided to urge the MP, in-charge minister and MLA’s to press the state government to meet their demands.
The protesters also expressed rage over the fact that the government has failed to respond to their demands.
