Mangaluru, March 16: Members of Mangaluru Bar Association protested in front of the court here by boycotting the court proceedings on Monday, March 16th, demanding justice to the advocate Nabi Ahmed, who was shot dead by the police in front of the Allahabad court.
S P Chengappa, Chairman of MangaluruBar Association, addressed the protesters and said, the Uttarpradesh government has to provide justice to the deceased advocate Nabi Ahmed and demanded that the police Shailendra Singh who had shot the advocate to death must be arrested immediately.
He urged the union government should intervene in this matter and press the state government for suitable actions.
Yashodara Karkera-Vice president of Mangaluru Bar Association, General Secretary Raghavendra H V, Treasurer -Yatish, joint Secretary Suma Sharan and other members were present during the protest.
