12th annual Shree Krishna-Balarama chariot fest of Mangaluru ISKCON will be held on February 21st.

Mangaluru, February 20: As part of the 12th annual celebrations of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness Mangaluru unit, the Shree Krishna-Balarama chariot fest will be organized at Dr TMA Pai hall in the city on February 21st at 5.30 pm.

Karunya Sagr Dasa Swamiji- President of Mangaluru ISKCON unit addressing a press meet in the city on Thursday informed that, Madhu Pandit Dasa- President of Akshaya Pathre Pratistana and ISKCON Bengaluru; will preside over the function.

The colourful Ratha Yatra procession will be flagged off after an inaugural special puja is performed at 05.30 p.m. from Dr. T.M.A. Pai Convention Centre. The majestically decorated and illuminated spectacular chariot carrying the Deities of Sri Sri Krishna Balarama procession will proceed from Dr. T.M.A. Pai Convention Centre M.G. Road and pass through P.V.S. Circle, Navabharath Circle, K.S. Rao Road, Hampankatta, Market Road, G.H.S. Road, P.M. Rao Road, K.S. Rao Road and back to M.G. Road and culminate at Dr. T.M.A. Pai Convention Centre at 08.30 p.m. which will be followed by Bhajans, Sankirtans and Maha Mangala Arati and serving of prasadam by the volunteers, he explained.

Swamiji also said that, devotees from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Maharastra and Andhra Pradesh will participate in this festival.

In the press conference, Sanandana Dasa, the secretary of the Krishna Consciousness association, member Radha Govind Dasa, media consultant M V Malya were present.
