Mangaluru, February 15: A new pre-university college ‘Pana Pre-Uni’ was launched by Shrividya Education Foundation at an event organized at hotel Moti Mahal here on Sunday February 15th.
The function was inaugurated by A J Shetty, chairman of A J Group of Institutions by lighting the lamp.
Dr M Shantharam Shetty, pro-chancellor of Nitte University released the logo of Pana pre-university college.
The website of the college www.pana.global was launched by Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva’s Educational Foundation.
A J Shetty congratulated the trustees of Shrividya Education Foundation and said, in the present scenario education is very important; without education nothing is possible. We have many good educational institutions here in Mangaluru and they have maintained their name. It is really nice that this college has come up in Mangaluru. Let the college grow to great heights.
He urged the trustees of Pana College to give the best education to the students.
Dr Mohan Alva said, students from different places come here to pursue education. Our honesty and sincere efforts will lead to success, let us strive towards this, he said and wished well for Shrividya Foundation in its future endeavours.
Dr Shantharam Shetty said, foundation is very important, which begins from home, school and college. Let Pana College lay this foundation in students. We require good hearted citizens who can build the nation. We should dream and turn that dream into reality. I wish the institution all success, he said.

Pana Pre-Uni College will begin from June 1st, 2015, only with 1st PUC, which offers courses in arts, science and commerce.
Applications for the academic year 2015-2016 will be available from February 23rd at Pana Education’s city office, opposite to Mandovi True Value, SCS hospital road, Balmatta, Mangaluru-575002.
