Mangaluru, January 29: Founder and owner K Vishwanath (71), of Vishwa’s, a renowned store in the city for electronics and electrical goods of various brands, has rested in eternal peace in a private hospital here on Wednesday January 28th.
He was suffering from certain ailments. He is survived by wife, two sons, and a daughter.
In the year 1976, Vishwanath had set up ‘Vishwa Sales’ in the Woodside Hotel building in K S Rao Road. He later started another shop, ‘Vishwadeep’, which dealt in decorative lights. Later, a showroom was opened in ‘Classic Arcade’ which was his own building. ‘Vipul Electronics and Cooling Engineers’ dealing with electronics and electrical equipment was also started for sales and service in the city.
In the past Vishwanath was the president of Rotary Club Mangaluru North and also a member of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
