Mangaluru, January 28: A school boy died in a bus, accident that took place near Hotel Punja International in Mangaluru on Wednesday, January 28th.
The deceased has been identified as Anand Raj (10), son of Sumitra and Raja Manikyam, a resident of Kateel. He was the student of Ganapathi High School, and was studying in 4th standard.
As per the eyewitnesses, when Anand was crossing the road along with his siblings, a city bus named Golden travels with route number 13B knocked him down killing him instantly. The bus driver has escaped from the accident spot soon after the accident.
The body has been shifted to the Wenlock hospital for autopsy.
A case has been registered by traffic west police.
