Puttur, January 22: Two persons have lost their lives in an accident between a car and a scooter near Kaikamba Colony, Puttur on Thursday January 22nd.
The duos have been identified as Chandu Sab (35) and Shivayya (28), are natives of Gadag.
The accident occurred after the driver of Innova car lost control and knocked the scooter. Following this, the car went off the road. The car was moving to Subramanya from Bengaluru, when this accident occurred, it is learnt.
Chandu and Shivayya who were on the scooter suffered critical injuries. Chandu died on the spot while Shivayya breathed his last on the way to hospital.
Chandu and Shivayya were the staffs at Subramanya Temple.
Kadaba cops have registered a case.
