Mangaluru, January 21: Satyajit Suratkal, leader of Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) on addressing a press meet in the city on Wednesday January 21st said, “Karnataka is transforming into an international terrorist hub”.
He said, recently arrested ISIS coordinator Mehdi has enrolled many youngsters into the IS organisation, and also it is learnt that bombs manufactured in Bhatkal were responsible for many blasts that occurred in different parts of India. Serious actions should be taken by the government on this matter, he said.
He continued further and said, “The government blames Hindu organizations of moral policing and says it will eliminate moral policing, then why does it show concern towards terrorists? Is it because of vote bank politics?. He said, HJV is querying the government on behalf of all the citizens.
In reply to a query by a reporter, he said, “In the past, terrorists were operating from abroad but now they are operating within our country and from Karnataka. ISIS, a powerful terrorist organization was operating from Bengaluru and the matter has to be dealt seriously.
During the press meet, HJV leaders Amith Kumar, Kishore Kumar, and Subash Padil were present among others.
