Mangaluru, January 13: The Women’s Bank which has taken a bold step towards the empowerment of women has opened its 40th branch in Mangaluru.
Along with the objective of empowering women, the Bharatiya Mahila Bank which aims at providing special representation to the women in the economic field has launched its second branch in the state near KSRTC in Mangaluru on Tuesday, January 13th.
Tulasi Madeneni, DK district Zilla Panchayat CEO inaugurated the bank.
Executive director of the Mahila Bank, SM Swathi, inaugurated the ATM center on this occasion.
Speaking during the event she said, the Bank has come to existence with a view to empower women.
Bank provides special provisions for women. The bank is contributing to economically empower women, she said.
Zilla Panchayat CEO Tulasi Maddineni, speaking on this occasion lauded the bank and said, the bank has come into existence with the aim of providing best service to women. She wished well and said let the women of district avail best service through this bank.
BK Srivastav, Daultani were present among others during the bank inauguration.
