Mangalore, May 25, Ramesh, state secretary of ABVP said that government should frame an act, which controls the fee structure of professional courses in private colleges.
He asked the government not to listen to the demands of private college managements regarding increasing the fees for undergraduate engineering and medical courses.ABVP warned of staging an agitation against private college managements, if they demand a hike.
He alleged that private colleges are the one who charges excessive fees for the admission to professional courses from students.Ramesh requested the government to monitor basic facilities in private colleges offering professional courses.
Ramesh also said in a press release that ‘if necessary, the government should implement the 2006 Act of Karnataka professional institution.
