Mangaluru, November 29: The chancellor of Mangaluru University Professor K Byrappa lauded Dr Sandhya S Pai and said, she has made a remarkable achievement through her management skills and social responsibility.
“Out Standing Manager” award was conferred to Dr Sandhya Pai, the Managing Editor of Taranga weekly by the Mangaluru Management Association. Sandhya Pai was felicitated on behalf of various organisations with bouquet of flowers.
Dr Sandhya Pai is not only an editor but an eminent administrator as well. Her attitude of subtle vibrancy, enthusiasm, flexibility to adjust with the changing world has made her successful. Byrappa expressed his happiness and said, it is the most intimate moment to honour her through the award.
The guests honoured and presented the awards to Sandhya Pai on behalf of the organization.
The chief guest of the program, Bibash Kumar, Executive Director of Corporation Bank congratulated Sandhya and said her writings are an inspiration to social thinking. He said her achievement is unique.
Dr Sandhaya Pai thanked the organizers and said, the awards and honors encourage one to be creative. Further she said, Social view, moral response and commitment towards duty will lead to success. Our life becomes meaningful when we whole heartedly make others happy.
