Mangaluru, November 18: State health and family welfare minister U.T Khader inaugurated the three-day National sports meet, jointly organised by All India Shiksha Samsthan, Karnataka division of Vidyabharati and Sharada group of educational institutions on Monday November 17th held at Sharada Vidyaniketan public school, Talapady.
UT Khader speaking after the inaugural ceremony said, Sports enables the children to grow mentally and physically fit.
During the inauguration, veteran sports trainer, B.N. Shankarnarayan was felicitated.
Mayor Mahabala Maarla, Mangaluru City Corporation, K.S Kalluraya, Vice-President, Sharada educational institution, Trustee Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, many dignitaries and students were present on this occasion.
