Mangaluru, November 01: A protest was staged late in the evening in front of Mangala hospital by the villager’s, family members, and relatives of a woman who expired on Friday October 31st post a surgery.
The protesters alleged that she had died of medical negligence.
The victim is Saritha from Kadri whose husband’s house is in Vittal.
She had visited a local doctor on October 23rd, Thursday evening for head ache. As per the doctor’s advice she was brought to Mangala Hospital in Mangaluru on October 24th.
It is learnt, doctors had recommended a CT scan during which a minor problem was traced. As per doctor’s advice she was operated in the hospital on October 25th.
Her family members said that, the next day she was taken to a scanning centre at Bendorewell post which the doctors said she has to undergo another surgery due some problem in her skull. They alleged that the negligence of the doctors during the two surgeries had left Saritha in a coma state. It is said, the doctors had denied to clearly reveal about her condition. Finally she expired on October 30th, Thursday.
The cops who had arrived at the venue intervened to cool down the situation.

Looks like mangala hospital is a funeral home and not a hospital. The hospital does not have necessary equipments for surgeries.In this case, After the brain surgery sarita was badly manhandled and taken out of the hospital 4 times by the housekeeping crew without any doctor to scan in another hospital. It’s disgusting. Doctors were least bothered- Dr. Madhukar and Dr. Ganapathy. Their intention is just to make money by killing patients. There is no difference between murderers and the mangala hospital crew!!!!
Very sad. This is due to Dr. Madhukar Nayak & Ganpathi Pai’s negligence….. And also due to bad man handling…. No proper facility..Shame on them…. Doctors are meant to save life but they taken her life….
The hospital should b closed and doctor’s ganpathi pai & madhukar nayak licence should be siezed..they should be taken to jail..
Mangala is a disgusting hospital… Itz a funeral home..
