Mangalore, October 23: Mortal remains of person was found lying close to the steps of MCC Bayalu Ranga Mantapa opposite to Urwa Marigudi Temple on Thursday October 23rd morning in the city.
The victim Nandakumar(42) is a resident of Urwa. The cause of his death are not yet known. Grave injures were observed on the head.
Prima facie, it appears that he might have died after being knocked with a large, heavy stone on his crown.
The city police commissioner R Hitendra, deputy police commissioner Vishnuvardhan, along with Urwa cops have visited the spot. Steps have been taken to register a case in Urwa police station.
More details are yet to be known.
