Life guards at the Panambur Beach rescue duo students from drowning.

Mangalore, October 9: Two students studying at Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE) have been saved from drowning at the Panambur beach on Wednesday, October 8th.

On Wednesday evening, a group six students from MITE had visited the beach. Among them Veerbhadra, a native of Chikbanavara and R Prasad, a native of Basavanagudi in Shimoga were caught in the waves while swimming.

Meanwhile, his friends started shouting for help, life guards at the Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project (PBTDP) who grew alert managed to rescue them.
